Some people come to journaling as a way of processing their thoughts and feelings. Some just need a place to vent safely. Others want to move past hurts. Some may want to change their mindset and attitude. Whatever your motives for journaling, writing provides a method for becoming deeply connected to yourself, integrated, and whole.
At Soul Work Journaling, my aim is to provide you with ways to deepen your journaling process. I’ll do that by providing journaling prompts throughout each month, teaching journaling methods and techniques that you can try out, and giving you information to enhance your journaling practice.
As a mental health counselor in residence, I know how good journaling can be for your mental health! There are interventions I use with my clients that help clients gain more self-compassion, let go of anger and hurt, and resolve issues they struggle with. I’ll be sharing these as we go on this journey together.
Self-compassion is central to the work I do with clients, so to get you started off, if you sign up for my blog (coming soon), you’ll get 30 days of self-compassion journaling prompts.
I hope you interact with me on my posts! Let me know how the techniques go for you or how you liked specific prompts. I look forward to getting to know you!
